I'm quite glad that this holiday season is over with. I helped take down the decorations. I always feel a little sad putting Christmas lights away. Except that I wouldn't want to have them around all the time. They attracted unsavory creatures who want nothing more than to nest in your Christmas tree and then infest your whole house. We were lucky this year and avoided all of that. Still it's a sad happiness that I put everything away. A new year. One I'm looking forward to.

I have a birthday in a couple of weeks, but I'm not sure what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions?
