Keeping pets is all very well and good. Wild animals though should never be kept as pets, no matter how tame you think you can make them. People always seem to be surprised when their wild pets attack them. It's not good for the pet or the animal. All day today, I have been helping to take wild animals out of a man's 'farm' and try to figure out if we can put them back in the wild. Most of them have to be taken to a shelter of some kind.
Understandably animals that are endangered make people want to help take care of them. That sort of thing should be left to professionals. I certainly would never go into a cage with a wild animal.
What I saw today was quite sad. Wild animals shouldn't be used to humans.
